Gender Balance on Corporate Boards

The Future of EU Leadership Requires Gender Balance

Under EU law, listed companies must ensure representation of the underrepresented gender, male or female, at:

đź’Ž 40% of non-executive director positions, or
đź’Ž 33% of all director positions

This is not only a regulatory requirement, it is a structural shift in European leadership.

EU Women Leaders 2027 is a high-level leadership development program designed to accelerate women’s access to executive and board positions across the European Union.

With our Graduation Ceremony at the  European Parliament in February 2027, the program supports senior women from the public and private sectors in preparing for the next step: executive authority and board governance.

We deliver structured, practical training tailored to women in senior roles across public and private sectors.

đź’Ž Advanced Leadership & Executive Presence
đź’Ž Corporate Governance & Fiduciary Responsibility
đź’Ž Strategic Communication & Positioning
đź’Ž Board Dynamics & Effective Oversight

The program runs from October 2026 to February 2027 and includes five months of weekly online webinars and hands-on workshops, combining expert-led insights with practical application.

The grogramme will culminate in a high-level in-person networking event and graduation ceremony at the European Parliament in Brussels on 9 February 2027.

From over 1.000 applicants, we selected some of the 20 most accomplished women in Europe for this second edition of the program.
We are working on further editions still in 2027.
