Gender Balance on Corporate Boards

The Future of EU Leadership Requires Gender Balance

Under EU law, listed companies must ensure representation of the underrepresented gender at:

đź’Ž 40% of non-executive director positions, or
đź’Ž 33% of all director positions

This is not only a regulatory requirement, it is a structural shift in European leadership.

EU Women Leaders 2026 is a high-level leadership development program designed to accelerate women’s access to executive and board positions across the European Union.

Co-financed by the European Commission, the program supports senior women from the public and private sectors in preparing for the next step: executive authority and board governance.

We deliver structured, practical training tailored to women in senior roles across public and private sectors.

đź’Ž Advanced Leadership & Executive Presence
đź’Ž Corporate Governance & Fiduciary Responsibility
đź’Ž Strategic Communication & Positioning
đź’Ž Board Dynamics & Effective Oversight

The program runs from February to June 2026 and includes five months of weekly online webinars and hands-on workshops, combining expert-led insights with practical application.

It concludes with a high-level in-person networking event in Luxembourg in early June 2026.
We selected some of the 20 most talented women in the EU for this first edition of the program.
We are working on further editions still in 2026.
